The greatest mistakes we have ever made!

Welcome to to the first post of the Project Typo blog!

The purpose of this blog is to help spread the word about Project Typo and all it entails.

What is Project Typo?

Project Typo is an idea that a friend and I came up with out of the blue when talking. We were talking to each other in an instant message conversation. Over the years, she noticed I misspelled the word "your" as "yoru" when typing.

We always laughed about it when we noticed it and one day she said, "You should make a character based on that typo!" and laughed it off. I sat there and thought about it and said..."Why not!" and that is how Yoru, the first typo was born.

After coming up with designs and drawing them out, Yoru, Oyu and Yuo were born. The three flagship typo characters.

What is the Goal of the Blog?

What was initially just a fun idea for us and our friends started to become something I wanted to grow into something more! The characters were simple but well done. I wanted them to be known outside our small circle and turn into a brand of sorts.

The blog is here to chronicle the journey of Project Typo and see how it evolves. It also is here to show the process of the different characters that will join the PT world.

The last goal is also to promote the PT brand that is currently being printed on T-shirts at Zazzle.com to get the word out about these creations.

What types of subjects are gonna be posted?

New designs that are posted on the Zazzle shop and post detailing who the Typos are and their personalities.

Also to show off how we come up with the designs and pre design sketches. If it gets populated, maybe even asking people to come up with or request designs for their own typos they make a lot!

Final Thoughts...
I really enjoy these Typos and want other people to as well. I see potential in them to bring joy to others and also show the world that you can be different and still stand out in a positive light. That is the spirit and soul of PT!

I hope anyone who reads this considers learning about the world of Project Typo and watches as it takes off hopefully. Thank you for reading!
